How The Foundation Started
Established in 2021, Camp Genesis offers an American-style camp experience in South Africa, emphasizing teamwork, dedication, and discipline to develop character and confidence.
The Leadership Foundation started when Camp Genesis staff noticed many teens couldn’t afford camp due to financial constraints. Recognizing it as a luxury for low-income families, we provide partial or full scholarships to ensure every young person has opportunities.
We believe in the transformative power of youth to shape our nation’s future. Through genuine networking, clear communication, focused fundraising, and partnerships with youth development organizations, we provide crucial financial aid to disadvantaged youth and communities.
Together, we strive for a brighter future by empowering young individuals with essential tools and support to thrive and contribute positively.
Our focus extends beyond financial assistance to education, support, and mentorship. Our programs cultivate life skills, leadership qualities, and personal growth. We create safe environments where young individuals discover their potential, build resilience, and forge lasting friendships, enabling them to make positive impacts in their communities.
